It is important to let our clients know our capabilities within Aura ID. Over many years our large projects and supply agreements have allowed us to invest in some unique and clever machinery to speed up our in-house efficiencies in order to keep our time-frames to a minimum. We are always researching into new technology and systems to help our delivery to clients so talk to us about your next project and we will make it happen.

CO2 Laser Engraving

The CO2 laser is best for industrial cutting of various materials such as wood, glass, acrylic, leather, wax, plastics, wood, and other fabrics. It uses a carbon dioxide gas mixture stimulated by electricity. We can laser engrave on a surface area of 900 x 600mm. The GCC LaserPro Spirit GLS lasers we run, is the flagship model of the award winning GCC LaserPro Spirit line of laser engravers. The Spirit series has received worldwide accolades from the signs and awards industry since its introduction.

CO2 Laser Engraving can also be used for annealing ceramic onto stainless steel, brass and aluminium to make a rich black contrasting mark. Durable for all types of harsh New Zealand environments.

Rotary Engraving and Routing

We utilise the Vision Engraving systems that are manufactured in the USA, very reliable and ruggedly built to service all types of deep engraving and routing.

There are many industries that can be serviced with these great machines e.g. Sign making, Trophy & Plaques, Parts Marking, Badge Engraving, ADA Braille Signs, Wood Engraving, Plastic Engraving, Metal Engraving, Tag Engraving, Control Panels and more!

Fiber Laser Marking

Laser marking is what happens when the beam interacts with the surface of a material, slightly altering its properties or appearance. It is achieved by moving a low-powered beam slowly across the material using a method called discoloration, which creates high-contrast marks without disrupting the material. Laser heats the material, causing oxidation under the surface and turning the material black and it applies low temperatures to metal to anneal the surface. All of this is done while leaving the surface intact.

It’s popular in the medical device industry for stainless steel and titanium parts, but can be performed on other materials as well. A laser marker is ideal for bar code labels, UID codes, QR codes, logos and other asset identification needs

Fiber Laser Cutting

Our state of the art Bodor Fiber Laser Cutter was a great addition to the Aura family in 2016 and with a few minor teething issues it is now an integral part of our process.

Having outsourced all our laser cutting previously it extended our lead times and hindered our service promise but now with it all in house we can cut almost anything with this bad boy. It is suitable for cutting carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and alloy metal materials.

UV Printing

UV printing ADA-compliant/Braille signs with patented Direct Color Systems technology saves time and costs when compared to other production methods.

This printer assists us with many different industries e.g. wood, acrylic and glass printing, cylindrical, aluminium, name badge, tag and part marking. If all else fails the UV printer steps up and does basically anything.
